Merchant Activation Representative



Summary

Review new and existing customer accounts for provisioning of credit card terminals and software. Perform a multitude of functions in order to provide the correct processing solution to our customers, including everything necessary to set up a merchant account. It is an important role as accuracy in deploying the correct processing solution impacts our customers and Sales Partners.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The roles primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Review applications for deployment accuracy
  • Process deployment orders
  • Quality check applications and other documentation to ensure accuracy
  • Communicates with customers and Sales Partners by phone, fax and email
  • Identify, resolve and or communicate issues related to equipment, software, applications, and  Sales Partners in a timely fashion to prevent customer and SP  impact
  • Any other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

There are a number of basic skills which are vital to perform the job effectively:

  • Computer literate
  • The ability to work at speed and with accuracy
  • High level of attention to detail
  • The ability to work to deadlines
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
